About Afrisol
Afrisol Consultant Limited is a management consultancy firm established in 2005 and registered in Kenya under the Companies Act. The firm provides consultancy services in management, research, training, feasibility studies, and project design to governments, non-governmental organizations, and international development agencies.
Since inception, Afrisol has successfully completed over 40 assignments across six countries in the East and Horn of Africa region: Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Somaliland, and South Sudan.
The firm operates from its head office in Kisumu, Kenya, at Maseno University's Kisumu Varsity Plaza. Afrisol maintains a lean structure of 5 directors and 5 permanent technical staff, supported by a pool of experienced associate consultants deployed based on engagement requirements.

GIRL-H Market Systems Assessment — Kenya (5 ASAL Counties) & Karamoja, Uganda
Market Systems Development assessment for Girls Improving Resilience through Livelihoods + Health (GIRL-H). 14 FGDs, 64 KIIs, and 17 business consultations across Turkana, Isiolo, Marsabit, Garissa, Wajir (Kenya) and Karamoja (Uganda). Sector prioritization for adolescent girls' economic empowerment with 6 overarching recommendations.
Capacity Strengthening of 20 CSOs — Chukua Control Project
3-day intensive training for 120 participants (board members, finance officers, programme managers) across 20 civil society organisations. Covered governance, leadership, strategic management, resource mobilisation, donor compliance, and M&E. Funded by German Cooperation.
Child-Centred Co-Creation — Climate Change & Migration, Garissa County
Phase 2 Design Thinking research with 85 respondents including 67 children (34 boys, 33 girls) across 8 co-creation workshops in Balambala and Lagdera sub-counties. Produced actionable solutions for water, education, health, shelter, and psychosocial support for climate-displaced children.
5-Year Strategic Plan 2022–2027 — Samburu West Constituency
Comprehensive strategic plan for constituency of 144,620 residents covering 3,937 km². SWOT, PESTEL, and stakeholder analysis with implementation matrix across 8 pillars: infrastructure, education, skills development, youth, climate, partnerships, security, and social protection.
Revenue Enhancement Baseline Survey — Ministry of Finance
Baseline survey informing own-source revenue mobilization strategy. County OSR represented only 4.7% of total revenue at time of study.

Environmental Impact Assessment
Child Protection Needs Assessment — 8 ASAL Counties
Multi-county assessment covering Wajir, Mandera, Garissa, Turkana, Samburu, and others. Findings informed $2.5M intervention targeting 57,000 beneficiaries including 14,250 children.
